Convenings

NNPN gathers its Member Theaters and other constituents regularly to promote collaboration, encourage the exchange of ideas, and make the Network work.   

Annual Conference: In 2020 and 2021, NNPN gathered in virtual spaces with Member Theaters, Affiliated Artists, Ambassadors, and members of the general public to share case studies and learnings aimed at moving the field forward. Many of these sessions can be found on NNPN’s YouTube channel.  

National Showcase of New Plays: Established in 2002, the National Showcase of New Plays is an annual event that brings together NNPN Member Theaters and other constituents to see and celebrate new plays. Plays are nominated by Member Theaters and solicited from select Affiliated Artists; those selected are presented at Showcase in a variety of formats.
