VICTORY GARDENS & ACTOR'S THEATRE OF CHARLOTTE VOTED INTO NNPN MEMBERSHIP
WASHINGTON, DC - The NATIONAL NEW PLAY NETWORK (NNPN), the country’s leading alliance of non-profit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, proudly announces the addition of Victory Gardens Theater of Chicago and Actor’s Theatre of Charlotte into the membership. They join 24 theaters across the country dedicated to pioneering models of new-play development for the field.
NNPN ANNOUNCES $140,000 IN GRANTS TO MEMBER THEATERS FOR 2009-10
WASHINGTON, DC - The NATIONAL NEW PLAY NETWORK (NNPN), the country’s leading alliance of non-profit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, will award grants totaling over $140,000 to its 26 member theaters in 2009-10, with participation in nearly every region of the country. The grants were announced at the organization's Annual Conference on June 20 in Dallas, TX, hosted by Kitchen Dog Theater.
