VICTORY GARDENS & ACTOR'S THEATRE OF CHARLOTTE VOTED INTO NNPN MEMBERSHIP

WASHINGTON, DC - The NATIONAL NEW PLAY NETWORK (NNPN), the country’s leading alliance of non-profit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, proudly announces the addition of Victory Gardens Theater of Chicago and Actor’s Theatre of Charlotte into the membership. They join 24 theaters across the country dedicated to pioneering models of new-play development for the field.

Actor's Theatre of Charlotte (Charlotte, NC) Founded in 1989, Actor's Theatre of Charlotte is the region's only professional theater company solely dedicated to presenting plays for mature audiences. They serve their community by bringing stories to life that are entertaining, relevant and thought provoking. Victory Gardens Theater (Chicago, IL) Founded in 1974, Victory Gardens Theater is a seminal institution within the Chicago Theater Movement of the 1970s and 1980s, dedicated by mission to serving playwrights and producing world premiere plays.
